Our Story


LFG Building Consultants was founded on the belief that the property consulting industry could—and should—operate differently. Our founders recognized a need for a firm that would provide technically sound, independent consulting grounded in honesty, integrity, and transparency. From the beginning, our mission has been simple: deliver objective guidance, build lasting relationships, and help clients make informed decisions with confidence—not by inflating damages or overbilling for services, but by always doing what is right.


From its earliest days, Russell Fountain, Jamie Seibel, and Bobbi Mace-Maldonado were instrumental in shaping the company’s culture, operations, and long-term direction. Together, they established the principles that continue to define LFG today: technical excellence, independent thinking, accountability, and an unwavering commitment to exceptional client service.


Since its founding, LFG has grown into a nationally recognized building consulting firm serving insurance carriers, third-party administrators, attorneys, owners, and commercial clients throughout the United States. Our experienced team provides independent building consulting services on projects of every size—from everyday residential and commercial property losses to the nation’s most complex commercial claims and catastrophic events. Regardless of the scope of an assignment, every client receives the same commitment to accuracy, responsiveness, and sound professional judgment.


While the firm has grown, its foundation remains unchanged. Following the passing of one of our original founders, Russell Fountain, in 2026, LFG continues to move forward under the leadership of the same founding team that helped build the company from the beginning. Today, the name LFG represents Legacy Fountain Group a tribute to Russell’s lasting impact and a reflection of our commitment to preserving the values, integrity, and client-first philosophy that have always defined our company.


His vision helped establish the foundation on which LFG was built. Together with our employees, clients, and leadership team, we remain committed to carrying that legacy forward by delivering the honest, independent expertise our clients have come to trust.

Our CULTURE

LFG’s culture has been shaped by the people who built this company and the values they chose to uphold every day. From the beginning, we believed that technical expertise alone is not enough. Integrity, humility, accountability, and genuine care for our clients and one another are the foundation of everything we do.

One phrase became part of our culture early on. During a team meeting, Russell Fountain looked around the room and said,

     “I see a room full of kind eyes and good people.”

That simple observation captured the character of the team we continue to build today.

At LFG, we believe character comes before competency—but never in place of it. We hire people who are committed to doing the right thing, continually developing their expertise, and serving our clients with professionalism, honesty, and sound judgment.

Our reputation is built on providing honest recommendations, objective analysis, and transparent communication. Jamie Seibel
President

Jamie Seibel serves as the President at LFG Building Consultants, where he leads client engagement and retention strategies across residential and commercial projects. A founding member of LFG, Jamie has played a key role in shaping the firm’s client service model and expanding its presence in key markets nationwide. In his role, he focuses on client success, supports company growth goals, and cultivates strategic partnerships that strengthen LFG’s capabilities and reach.

 

Jamie began his professional career in the construction industry after graduating from Seton Hall University in 1993. Early in his career, he was instrumental in the manufacturing, installation, and sales of cultured marble products in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, before becoming a partner in a South Florida-based HVAC company. There, he oversaw sales, service, training, and innovation for both commercial and residential heating and air conditioning system.

 

In 2004, Jamie transitioned into the insurance industry, quickly becoming a licensed multi-line adjuster. After several years of field experience, he advanced into a sales leadership role with an independent adjusting firm, where he drove business development, managed national and local accounts, and cultivated relationships with insurance carriers, TPAs, brokers, agents, attorneys, government entities, and risk pools. He also supported catastrophe operations nationwide, including response efforts for Hurricanes Sandy, Michael, Irma, Harvey, and others.

 

Jamie’s extensive background in construction, restoration, and insurance adjusting makes him a trusted leader in both daily and catastrophic loss environments. His approach is rooted in responsiveness, strong communication, and a client-first mindset. Over the past 20 years, Jamie has built a reputation for reliability, insight, and long-term relationship management.
He currently resides in Annapolis, Maryland, with his wife and children.

Bobbi Mace-Maldonado
Chief Financial & Operating Officer

Bobbi Mace-Maldonado serves as the Chief Financial & Operating Officer and is a founding member of LFG Building Consultants. She brings more than two decades of executive leadership experience spanning finance, operations, human resources, and organizational strategy. A highly analytical and detail-oriented leader, Bobbi oversees the company’s financial and operational performance, building scalable systems, aligning teams, and translating strategic vision into measurable results.

 

As a founding member of LFG, Bobbi has played an instrumental role in building the company’s operational foundation and guiding its growth into a nationally recognized building and construction consulting firm. She is passionate about operational excellence and is committed to developing high-performing teams, strengthening organizational effectiveness, and ensuring every aspect of the business reflects LFG’s mission to redefine exceptional service in the building and construction consulting industry.

 

Known for her collaborative leadership style, Bobbi builds trust through integrity, accountability, and clear communication. She partners closely with employees, clients, and industry partners to foster a culture of continuous improvement, strategic thinking, and service excellence while positioning the company for long-term, sustainable growth.

 

Bobbi earned her Master of Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University and holds dual bachelor’s degrees from Indiana University: a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with concentrations in Human Resources and International Studies, and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. She is fluent in Spanish, a certified home inspector, and an avid lifelong learner dedicated to continuous professional growth.

 

Bobbi resides in Florida with her husband and three children. Outside of work, she enjoys serving alongside her family at church, spending time at the beach, and giving back to her community. Her faith, commitment to her family, and passion for serving others are the principles that guide both her life and her leadership.
